In this painting, I was remembering swimming in the ocean on a sunny day, where the sun slithered apart and road the ridges of the little valleys between the waves. How the strips of sunlight moved snakelike, broke apart into coins of light and reformed to ride the surface of the water Fire and Water dancing. That's what I've tried to portray here.
