The greenstone comes from Hokitika, on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. Either side of the pounamu are two double koru. The Maori koru design represents an unfurling new fern shoot, and signifies peace, tranquility, new beginnings, and positive change. So it's a lovely gift to give to someone
